Progetto Ambiente
Contents Progetto Ambiente, this year at its third edition, has been conceived in order to develop an educative path exploiting the creative and highly communicative characteristics of film language. Two days will be devoted to the morning screening of short films, documentaries and animated movies dealing with environmental topics such as recycle, ethical consumption, food.
Users The screening of the scheduled movies will be a useful point of departure for further considerations in order to make people more aware of environmental problems. This will be a great opportunity to involve teachers and students of the province of Bergamo in this project, with the collaboration of the university of Bergamo and other organizations working in the environmental field. When and where The event will be on the 28th and 29th October 2009 from 9.00 to 12.30 a.m. at the Auditorium of Piazza della Libertà, Bergamo. The project described above was born not only thanks to the sensitivity of the festival organizers with regards to environmental themes, but also to give even more credit to an initiative promoted by them in the previous years; since 2004 there is a participation formula that gives to the viewers that would like to reach the festival by bike the right to have a reduced entrance ticket.
This initiative has become more and more strong and had the support of a great number of participants, stimulated, intrigued and amused and that in this way solved their problems with parking and traffic. In 2009 we want to repeat these experiences with more partners and the support of sponsors and associations. We are convinced of the potentialities of this offer, above all for the morphology of the city urban network: Bergamo is a city that can be easily crossed by bike. Moreover, the venue of the festival is in the city centre and very near to public services and places of cultural interest and hospitality. |
