Boris Sollazzo

During his first 25 years of life and among his many interests, Boris Sollazzo has been a supporter of the Naples football club, a swimmer, a water polo player, a sport radio commentary speaker, a theatre critic and observer, a co-author of a book (America Oggi) about US elections, and, of course, last but not least, a film critic and reporter. At present he writes and reviews articles for newspapers such as Liberazione, Dnews and Ilsole24ore website, as well as magazines such as Rolling Stones, Film Tv, Gioia, alphabetcity.it and more. He is also a consultant for Le Giornate degli Autori and the proud editor of www.moviesushi.it, where shortfilms have a relevant role.

Bruno Bartolomeo Di Marino  

Bruno Bartolomeo Di Marino (Salerno 1966), historian of the moving image, has been dedicated to audiovisual experimentation and new media since 1989. He took charge of several festivals, lots of reviews and retrospectives in Italy and abroad. Among his books we recall: Sguardo inconscio azione cinema underground e d’artista a Roma (1965-1975); Clip! 20anni di musica e video (1981-2001); L’ultimo fotogramma. I finali del cinema; Interferenze dello sguardo. La sperimentazione audiovisiva tra analogico e digitale; Studio Azzurro - tracce, sguardi e altri pensieri; Pose in movimento. Fotografia e cinema. He wrote for several specialized magazines. His essays have been published in France, Belgium, Portugal, Germany, Russia, Japan, China and Hungary.

Susanna Nicchiarelli  

Susanna Nicchiarelli was born in Rome in 1975. Graduated in Philosophy, completed the Master degree at the Scuola Normale Superiore di Pisa and in 2004 she graduated in direction at Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia of Rome. She directed several shortfilms and documentaries. Recently she shot her first feature film, Cosmonauta, that won the section Controcampo at the 66th edition of Venice Film Festival.

Pierpaolo Rovero  

Pierpaolo Rovero is a cartoonist and teacher of Comics Art at the Accademia delle Belle Arti of Turin. Graduated in Communications at the University of Turin, he also has a degree at the Disney Academy. Pierpaolo started collaborating as a cartoonist and scriptwriter in 1996 for “Topolino”, a Walt Disney production. From 2004 he has been taking care of the transposition of Michel Rio’s black novels, a high profile French writer. Between 2006 and 2009 the comics books Gate 22, of which he also edits the script, Malone, inspired by Michel Rio’s works, and Terroriste based on Jean-Claude Bartoll’s texts, were published in France.

Paolo Vecchi  

Contributor of the monthly magazine "Cineforum", Paolo Vecchi is the author of various books mainly dedicated to  Italian and Eastern Europe cinema. During the last few yeas he published Andrej Tarkovskij (with Tullio Masoni), La luna, i falò - il cinema di Fredi M. Murer (Lindau, 2007) and Radici - il cinema di Istvan Gaal (with Judit Pinter). He also wrote entries for the Encyclopedia of European Cinema, The Companion to Italian Cinema and for the Treccani Dictionary. He taught at the University of Parma and Modena and for the RTSI.

  Massimo Locatelli is a research professor of cinema, photography and television at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore of Milan and Brescia, where he also teaches Audiovisual and Cinema Theories and Cinema and Audiovisual Institutions. His activity as reasearcher is focused on the history of the theories of cinema and on the history of socio-technological audiovisual, with particular attention to Italy. He is the editor of the specialized magazines "Bianco e Nero" and "Comunicazioni Sociali".
Matteo B. Bianchi  

Matteo B. Bianchi published the novels Generations of love, Fermati tanto così and Esperimenti di felicità provvisioria for Baldini Castoldi Dalai Edition. He also published the memoirs Mi ricordo and the fairy tale Tu Cher dalle stelle. He supervised, together with Giorgio Vasta, the Dizionario affettivo della lingua Italiana. Ilaria Fraioli  

Ilaria Fraioli got her Editing degree at Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia of Rome. She was a finalist at Nastri d’Argento 2008 with the films Riprendimi and Vogliamo anche le rose. Among her productions there are: “La rabbia” and “Comunisti” by Davide Ferrario; “Un’ora sola ti vorrei” and “Vogliamo anche le rose” by Alina Marazzi; "58%" by Vincenzo Marra; “Promised Land” by Michael Beltrami; “Riprendimi” by Anna Negri and “Mar Nero” by Federico Bondi.

Hombres de sal, Manuel Jimenez
