A Goleshovo, una cittadina dimenticata tra le montagne della Bulgaria, il tempo si è fermato. Gli unici abitanti sono un gruppo di anziani che cerca di sopravvivere. Una coppia litiga con il proprio asino. Un prete smemorato conduce una confusa assemblea religiosa. Una signora tenta di rallegrare le amiche con delle canzoni. Torneranno mai i loro figli? In Goleshovo, a small forgotten town in the mountains of Bulgaria, time has stopped. The only inhabitants are some old people struggling for survival. A couple fights with their donkey. A thoughtless priest leads a confused religious service. A woman tries to cheer up her friends with songs. Will their children ever return? Cresciuto con la passione per il violino, è però nel cinema che il suo interesse per le persone e la sua sensibilità musicale convergono. Nel 2008 si laurea in Regia per il documentario presso la National Film e Television School di Londra.Ilian Metev is a documentary director and cinematographer based in London. He has grown up with a violin in his hand, but it is within film that his interest in people and his musical sensibility converge.
